  • Collected favorites from cult indie rock trio Acetone, back in stock! The L.A. group have roots in short-lived scuzz-rock band Spinout, who released one record in 1991 (on Delicious Vinyl, oddly enough) and then morphed into Acetone. Between 1993 and 2001, the trio released a string of cult LPs on Virgin sublabel Vernon Yard and Neil Young’s Vapor imprint, but their psych & surf-influenced sound failed to make any major waves under the looming shadow of Seattle grunge that was sweeping the nation. The band’s run was cut short by the tragic death of bassist Richie Lee in 2001. This collection, the band’s first-ever retrospective release beautifully compiled by Light In The Attic, contains 16 of their most beloved tracks cut on 'pool haze' colored double vinyl housed in deluxe gatefold sleeve with obi strip. Highlights include “Shaker,” “Vibrato,” “Louise” & “All The Time.”

    • 'pool haze' blue colored double vinyl pressing
    • audio restored + remastered from the original tapes
    • housed in Stoughton tip-on gatefold sleeve w/ obi strip
    • includes printed foldout insert w/ liner notes by Sam Sweet
    • original release year: 2017
    • music label: Light In The Attic 2023
