  • Bottoms up sunshine, love potion number nine. Blackcash & Theo come through with their latest 7-inch sure-shot for all rare groovers, Casanova Browns and Madam Butterflies. The A-side features a characteristically restrained edit of Dynasty’s “Adventures In The Land Of Music,” which of course served as the main loop in Camp Lo’s “Luchini” (shout out to the criminally underrated Ski Beatz) and has been endlessly recycled since then. Dynasty’s LP of the same name is fairly common but the 45 is a little tougher to find. What really makes this plate absolutely vital is the flip: Cesar Mariano & Cia’s long lost Brazilian jazz-funk shaker “Metropole” on 45 for the first time ever (it can be found on their rare AF 1977 LP São Paulo • Brasil if you’ve got $200 lying around). This digger grail is beloved by steppers and fusion freaks alike for its funky bassline, deadly drumming and flawless rhodes arrangement. Gently edited by Blackcash & Theo for seamless mixing and maximum floor impact.
