Bronx representing like whatever.. This 1968 release from Bronx-born percussionist Bobby Matos is one of the Latin Jazz albums serious diggers are always looking for (goes for about $200 in the original, but rarely available) .
Like a true holy grail, it's stellar from beginning to end, constantly enveloping different styles and a spontaneous grit that many latin jazz albums lack. Get this into your collection, and you'll have several quality DJ tracks to add to your latin dance set (Tema De Alma Latina, Nadie Baila Como Yo, En Casa De Alfredo)‰Û_Ìãå¦ but really, listen A-B on a steamy summer day.
