Praise To The Institution Of Cynicism! Brazilian modern psych masters Boogarins' third studio album gets a very welcome expanded reissue. Imagine the laidback crooning of Beach House's Victoria Legrand over the psychedelic dirges of Broadcast or Tame Impala's headier moments. Highlights include "Foimal," "Onda Negra," "Corredor Polonês" and "Polução Noturna." The record has been increasingly hard to find in the States so this special edition on heavyweight dark smokey colored vinyl with three new tracks ("Castigo," "LVCO 4" and a particularly meditative rendition of "No Return" by The Kinks) is a nice consolation. Recommended.
