  • Deep vibes from Birmingham's Byron The Aquarius. First surfacing in 2007 with The Big Payback, a collaborative effort with Onra, Byron's soulful keys ended up catching the ears of producers like Flying Lotus and Theo Parrish. His High Life EP for Parrish's Sound Signature reintroduced Byron's unique sound to the house world. Drawing heavily from jazz, Gone Today Here Tomorrow gives us a wider perspective of what the producer can do. Rich, warm and multi-hued, the six tracks each head off in their own direction. There are traces of modern soul, hip hop, Balearic house, and jazz influenced deep house. Although they may not all move to the same beat, the tracks are tied together Byron's deep sense of soul.
