  • Toronto's got talent, and we're not talking about Drake (although everyone else is atm). Charlotte Day Wilson, the 25-year-old singer who's worked and/or shared the stage with the likes of BADBADNOTGOOD, River Tiber, and Daniel Caesar, drops her second independent EP, Stone Woman, and the 7 tracker is a lush, infectious folk-soul gem that warrants continuous play. Although smooth and chilled out, the songs express a lot of feeling—heartbreak(s) certainly seem to have fueled the writing of the record. However, as the title suggests, the project is focused on getting over relationships and standing your ground through the hardships: check out "Doubt," "Nothing New," and "Funeral."
