Stunning set of Brazilian edits from the good folks at Chit Chat Records. The LA-based label really got that sunny summer vibe on lock (which is the polar opposite of cold-ass NYC right now) with four cuts of brazilian balearic bliss. Check Poolside & Fatnotronic's gorgeous re-work of Cassiano's 1977 mega-jam "Onda," for a taste. The track pretty much kills it with that hypnotic bass, breezy chorus, and acidic flourishes. Worth it for this one alone, but also check the grooves of "Gold & Timber" from Fatnotronic on the solo tip, for when you need a uber-funky bomb to drop on the floor. Also includes Daniel T.'s "Gravura" and the sensual disco sounds of Tony Adams' "India." Four for four on this one, A+!
