  • Rare UK House reissued from Motor City Drum Ensemble. Originally released in 1996 on Rainy City Music, the three tracker has long been a secret cut for the likes of Theo, Marcellus, and Mike. After trying to get the rights to the tracks for over a year, the release is now coinciding with the 20 year anniversary of the House tunes. 'It's All In The Groove' is just that, a solid groove that never tires with some slight cosmic flourishes and a very funky bassline that has kept the people moving for two decades. The flip's 'A Lil' Tribute To The Moody Black Keys' goes deeper, with a much more emotionally drawing response much like a Metro Area song feels... sort of happy and sad at the same time. The last cut, 'Jus' Nite Groovin', is the track that sits in the pocket. Another groovin' bassline, only this time laced with some Piano chords sitting on top and some very subtle Mr Finger's nods. Now to appeal to the Discogs types, OG copies go for LOOT, so this should be welcomed reissue into your collection. Officially licensed and wonderfully remastered from the original DAT tapes.
