  • Anybody who DJs more than 2 years will eventually get into disco. It is, as we all know, the foundation of dance music. "I Want To Thank You," Change, and D-Train are kinda Disco 101, but after awhile you get a little more involved in stuff like, uh... other Change records? Sorry, but admittedly my disco knowledge is kinda piddling. I like 80's-y disco like early 80's Prelude and Emergency; I'll buy anything by Cerrone and Moroder on general principle but am disappointed like 90% of the time. And I think for the most part Salsoul is too disco-y. But amidst all these hang-ups (I'm the same way with girls and food), tracks like Clyde Alexander's "Got To Get Your Love" go into the Clearly Indisputably Good category. I won't go into describing the track- either you're into it or you just started DJing- but this is a great fucking disco track. Also includes a full 10 minute instrumental. Legit 2015 repress with authentic "disco" sleeve and sticker. Recommended.
