Cut Chemist in the mix ya'll! Heads already know how the Chemist gets down on the 1's and 2's (remember Brainfreeze with DJ Shadow?). In the tradition of throwback cut 'n paste mixes (i.e. "The Lesson"), The Funk Off Megamix follows up his previous mix efforts The Litmus Test and Sound Of The Police, but with a different focus. Here Cut Chemist explores the sounds of the 80's underground with styles ranging from dark post punk, new wave, minimal synth, electro and more - breathing hip-hop flavor into several lost and obscure cuts. Many of the tracks featured can actually culled from Cut Chemist's Funk Off compilation. Roughly 30 minutes of music.
