  • Finally back in print! So our boy from Detroit came and DJ'd the spot in Brooklyn a couple years ago. He killed it in typical Motor City fashion playing anything and everything to get the crowd up. I wasn't even about to go trainspot, but once this record got on I just had to. Der Zyklus is a solo project from Heinrich Mueller (aka Gerald Donald of Drexciya, Dopplereffekt, and Arpanet fame) and this 12" compiles 4 of his best out-of-print tracks on a single piece of wax. The track that got me was "Formenverwandler," a slick Kraftwerkian electro cut with super catchy synth melodies and smokey mutated vocals. Worth it for this one alone, but you also get the heady Drexciyan funk of "Mxyzptik," the stomping electro of "Der Tonimpulstest," and the wicked "Die Dammerung Von Nanotech." Electro and techno heads should def check.
