More dopeness from the north by way of 1080p! The Vancouver-based imprint returns with label veteran D. Tiffany debuting her new alias DJ Zozi with a four tracker of faded, early 90's jungle vibes. The title track kicks things off and sets the pace, living up to the name "Mellow Vibe" with chilled atmospheric pads and shuffling percussion that set the groundwork for some deep bass hits that never go too hard as to offset that floating feeling. "Up Up" comes next, and as it is the "Slammin" version, ramps the 90's energy up to the max with some pumping breaks and big hoover bass to enduce rave flashbacks in the ol' heads. Speaking of raves, check "Zozi's Theme" for another dose of retro-rave goodness (complete with big synth stabs and ultra zoned out breaks), and "Snow Globe" that loops it up Roulé style with the French touch. Cool stickered sleeve as usual from 1080p.
