  • Super rare early recording of Fela Kuti on limited white vinyl! Live At The Afro Spot In Lagos was recorded in 1966 and offers a rare glimpse at Fela's beginnings with The Koola Lobitos. As the story goes, Fela had spent several years in London (studying medicine then switching to music) before returning to Nigeria to become a radio producer. It was during this time Fela formed his first band the Koola Lobitos, and along with legendary drummer Tony Allen and saxophonist Isaan Olasugba, the group developed a revolutionary new sound that would eventually become afro-beat. 6 tracks total, only 500 copies pressed.
