Originally released on Basic Channel's Chain Reaction imprint back 1999, "Prospect" would go on to influence the work of Deepchord and the Modern Love label. Warmly radiating bass, along with muted, shifting chords, and simple percussion roll along with ease. "Oblique" continues in the same vein, but is one of the few Fluxion tracks to add a hint of vocals to the mix. The fundamentals of dub techno, essential listening for fans of Shinichi Atobe and Andy Stott. Released by Subwax Bcn on 180 gram vinyl. Recommended.
