Next level electro-jazz fusion from Four Tet and Rocketnumbernine. Four Tet (aka Kieran Hebden) recently went in the studio with London's Rocketnumbernine (aka Tom and Ben Page) and Floating Points (on mix and recording) for a completely live improv session resulting in this fine 12" we have here. The two tracks contained within these grooves ("Roseland" and "Metropolis") are a heady blend of cosmic vibes and dubby jazz with lush textures and live percussion, all done in one take with no edits. Impressive work to say the least! Here's hoping for more from these guys. Comes in cardboard sleeve on Hebden's own TEXT imprint.
