Much anticipated release from Galcher Lustwerk! Galcher's been bubbling up in the underground for a minute with highly sought-after releases on White Material (that tend to go for $$$) and steps out on his own with this debut release on his freshly minted Lustwerk Music label. The title track "Parlay" has been making the rounds on the internet, causing a frenzy among house and techno heads who will be stoked to see it finally getting a proper release. The track takes the "less is more" approach, focusing on creating a solid vibe rather than piling on the layers. Cool pads and strong drums are topped with Galcher's signature rap speak to create the ultimate basement/after hours groove. A similar approach is taken on "Dockside," while "Kaint" goes more minimal and ambient for vibes galore. Dub included for "Parlay". Recommended.
