Goat kind of took 2012 by storm with the release of their debut album, World Music. They came out on the top of many reviewers top 10 lists, and for good reason. They spent the year touring, performing live shows that they preferred to call Rituals. Live Ballroom Ritual was recorded at Camden's Electric Ballroom in London in front of 1100 fans. The energy is palpable as the psyche rockers take the sorcery of their debut and further explore the songs. All the elements are perceptible, from the layers of guitars to the upfront percussion and chant like vocals. This is the perfect document for those of us that have not had the chance to catch the band live. At the same time it's the perfect souvenir for those that were lucky enough to be there.
