Third studio album from England's Gold Panda. Good Luck And Do Your Best was recorded at the producer's home in Chelmsford, but draws its main influence from a pair of trips he took to Japan. That influence brings a warmer pallet to this album. Where 2013's Half of Where You Live had a dark and clubby vibe, Good Luck And Do Your Best seems to flow more naturally. And the tracks fit together like pieces of a whole. Taken as a whole, the album is an idiosyncratic collection of house, IDM and downtempo that is reflective of its time and place. Eleven tracks in all. Released by City Slang Records on black vinyl with a download code.
