On his latest for Local Talk he returns to jack with lead track "Tears" storming out the gate with enough head snappiness we recommend a neck brace and an ice pack fans of Disclosure and Motor City Drum Ensemble pay attention. "Gymnastics" steers us in another direction with some good ol Disco House loop madness setting an upbeat pace that is both stomping and feel good. Finally "No Tears" is a stripped down version of the lead cut removing the driving vocal sample and leads us into a mostly instrumental fury. Recommended.
