  • Another round of dance edits from On The Prowl, this time from Jacques. You all should know Mr. Renault for his work with Runaway (with Marcos Cabral) or his numerous disco remixes (see last years massive Midnight Magic remix if you ain't knowin'), but the dude is also pretty slick on the edit. Here he breaks off four diverse and effective dancefloor bombs ranging from retro house vibes to pumping disco starting with a nod to old school raves on "Some Real Love." The backing beat on here really makes it with intense synth stabs and build ups to really set it off. Add to that airhorns and a Mary J. Blige acapella (albeit slightly off?) and you got a real crowd worker. Next up is a party starter entitled "Pierre Does Best" on that easy-to-feel 90's house tip, while the flip takes it to disco territory with a electrified edit of Machine's "There But For The Grace of God" and the sultry burner "Try My Love." Very useful 12" right here.
