"I recently purchased a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC turntable from you, and I am really impressed with the level of detail and customer service I’ve received so far. The instruction folder is a great touch, and your excellent site gave me tons of info and insight into buying and setting up the turntable. Bravo!" - P. Cuffari
"Wow. I just got the turntable. It is amazing. I love the bags, I love the fact that I got it literally less than 24 hours after ordering, I love the cartoon easy set up pics, the stickers, record cleaner brush, and the sound is great for the money. SOOO Happy!! Thanks guys and gals--you just created a customer for life."- R. Montgomery
"I love the Turntable Lab, great service & great products. There's no other store or site I'd rather buy my gear from. I'll sure keep on purchasing my equipment from TTL."- D. Martinez
"It's always nice to feel like you're appreciated, and you guys have done a great job with that."- R. Abeel
"Turntable lab constantly deliver the best and most current selection of modern music on all formats. It's my first stop for vinyl house and disco music. The reviews are accurate and I can trust the buyers to source quality product. Customer service is second to none and Bret has been nothing short of outstanding in every interaction we've ever had. Proud to be a Labhead." - G. Laurie
"First off I just want to thank you and your team for everything you do! The equipment and products you sell are awesome and exactly what artists like me need. I remember when I first discovered Turntable Lab by searching online for DJ equipment. I was looking all over for different equipment that I needed and when I found TTL I was relieved to find out that you guys basically had everything I was looking for." - C. Arroyo
"My Rane mixer arrived safely yesterday. I just wanted to say thanks to you and your team for your speedy response to my initial enquiry and efficient delivery. Great price and great service, I'll definitely be telling my friends about it." - A. McConnell (Marrickville, Australia)

More unreleased Trane! In a weird, bold, unexplained move by 1964 standards, John Coltrane’s “Naima” serves as the opening theme for Gilles Groulx’s Le chat dans le sac, an underground art house hit which played a seminal role in the development of Quebec cinema, produced by the National Film Board of Canada (ahem, the same one whose later films of the 70s and 80s would serve as the main inspiration for Boards Of Canada). Several other well-known Trane tunes play throughout the film, and until recently, it was assumed by everyone - Coltrane historians, family, Impulse label personnel - that the filmmaker had simply licensed existing recordings of the songs. However, it has since been revealed that Coltrane and his classic quartet (Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison) recorded these versions at Rudy Van Gelder’s studio specifically for the film, and not only do they appear here on physical format for the first time ever, they’re supplemented with previously unheard alternate takes from the sessions. Includes an abridged version of “Out Of This World” (here titled “Blue World”) from Coltrane, “Traneing In” from the album of the same name, “Like Sonny” from Coltrane Jazz, three versions of “Village Blues” and two versions of “Naima,” which are the only known versions recorded with the classic quartet. Cut from the original 1/4” analog master tapes, recommended.
- black vinyl pressing
- housed in full color printed inner sleeve w/ liner notes
- previously unreleased, newly discovered music from John Coltrane
- recorded in 1964 between Crescent & A Love Supreme
- mastered from original analog tape
- music label: Impulse! 2019
