Boston's Kon (aka Christian Taylor) is one of those DJs who's been quietly doing his own thing for a good long while. From putting out hip hop 12"s for Bobbito's Fondle Em and Rawkus Records to being crowned the King of Diggin' along with his former partner, Amir, by BBE back in 2006 he's been around the block more than a few times. Recently he's been dropping a string of super duty tough edits of disco classics that are not to be missed. For his solo 12" on Soul Clap Records the seasoned DJ turns in some original house productions for the first time. What can I say? The production is some of the best out there, the vocals on all of the tracks are in just the right place and these babies are guaranteed to bring the house down. Check the "Forget Me Nots" sampling "Love Youx Forever" if you need any proof. You'll have the trainspotters running up to the booth in no time.
