  • Two tracks of deep Detroit house and techno from Luke Hess and Omar-S. Each producer brings something different to the table. Hess is known for his refined techno while we're all familiar with Omar-S' more analog leanings. The two together deliver the best elements of both of their styles; adept drum programming, a propensity for subtlety and an ability to craft unending grooves. Deep chords set the tone for "Automatic Night," the more direct of the two tracks. It's a sublime slice of dub influenced techno. "Outerspace Drive" takes things out a little further with swirling arpeggios that fold back in on themselves. Lush strings come in as the track expands, creating an atmosphere that more than lives up to the track's name. Quality material.
