The young producer/songwriter/musician is just 20 years old, but already has some impressive achievements under his belt, including writing credits for Daptone and Dunham Records, as well as guitar and production work for Donnie and Joe Emerson and Lee Fields. On Thoughts Of You, Shrager steps out on his own to reveal "the best of everything I’ve done as a solo artist up to this point." The collection of songs were recorded in the past five or six years and showcase a refreshing combination of indie rock and soul ballad styles with his love for lo-fi analog recording techniques. Check "Girls Of The Galaxy," "You're Still There," and "Sophia" for a taste. After listening, it's pretty obvious why Donnie & Joe, Daptone, etc. would hit this dude up. Comes in beautiful pic sleeve.
