  • It seems like Omar-S comes out with something to catch his fans off guard every once in awhile. To kick off 2015 he drops one such track. "I Wanna Know" is a vocal house cut that sees the Detroit producer team up with James Garcia. He reaches into the Fingers Inc. side of the Chicago house pantheon for a track that appears to be on the verge of becoming a crossover anthem. A good amount of the Omar-S trademarks are there, his unique synthetic sound selection and knack for sublimely shuffling rhythms, but it's the throwback sensibility that may catch a few of his die hard fans off guard. All said and done, it's a spectacular track, one that should reach far beyond the fans and techno heads that are already familiar with the Detroit techno kingpin.
