Somebody must have put some James Brown in the water down in Barbados. Organization channel some serious JB's funk through most of their Creative Sounds Of The Organization LP. Turn to "Smokey Feeling" if you need any evidence. The track has been driving diggers crazy for years so it was only a matter of time before someone repressed this hard to find slab of wax. If you look in the usual places you'll see the OG go for stupid prices. Luckily you don't have to, pure and pristine Caribbean funk is just the click of a button away. Throughout the album the band moves through funk and soul, along with island inspired rhythms like reggae and calypso. Plenty to dig into while you're chilling on the beach. We recommend copping a few of these bad boys before they go out of print for good.
