Lab heads already know Patchworks is the real deal when it comes to soulful, funk-infused production, and this is simply more proof. From smoothed out jazz-funk on 2003's "Yunowhatthislifeez" by Metropolitan Jazz Affair, to uptempo dancefloor soul on "The Best Is Yet To Come" under his Mr. President alias, Patchworks comes correct from every angle. Also check the soulful house grooves on his remix of Amp Fiddler's "Sugar," and the jazzy instrumental jam "Summertime." Recommended.
