Straight outta the fjords of Norway Prins Thomas drops his second full length for those hungry for more of his trademark sound. While he may traffic in disco, there equal strains of house and techno in the mix on II. The man behind labels like Full Pupp and Internasjonal, and countless remixes shows why he is so in demand. There are tastes of spaced out disco jams and drum-centric beat downs all primed and pumped for the dancefloor. He makes steady work of the CR-78 on both versions of "Flau Pappa Dans" while tackling full on orchestration with album opener "Symfonisk Utviklingshemning." Not that that man is all over the place. There is a definite sense of pacing to the whole affair. II is not a collection of singles thrown together haphazardly, but a master work from one of the godfathers of the cosmic disco rebirth. Prins Thomas is more than in control of the music and he knows what to do. Recommended.
