  • Aside from the many studio recordings for Soul Fire Records and Truth & Soul Quincy Bright is known for, he has always had a passion for the privacy of bedroom recording. An avid record collector and aficionado in all types of music, he had begun honing his MPC skills early on in his musical career. However, Quincy goes beyond just sampling and layering drums. He adds vocals, bass, guitar, keys and sometimes flute to his unique blend of sampled hip hop/soul. This gives his compositions a unique, human element that is lacking from many types of programmed music. Quincy Bright is back for the second time and delivers another gem of a record. After the success of the first volume, Quincy compiled another EP of skits and beats to please and appease the many that have been following his music. Presented as a 7" at 33rpm with a full-color picture sleeve, "My Ghetto Looks Like This vol.2", is a personal look into the enigmatic mind of Quincy Bright.
