  • The eponymous Ra Ra Riot EP that kickstarted the band's meteoric rise in the indie/festival circuit… The syracuse group consisting of Wes Miles, Mathieu Santos, Milo Bonacci, Rebecca Zeller, and John Pike (who passed away in 2007, Kenny Bernard now plays drums) hit the scene hard with energetic live performances, and their impact quickly spread beyond the in-town houses and venues they were playing. This 6-tracker came out in 2007, and to mark the 10th anniversary of the EP, here's a limited-edition reissue (1500 units worldwide) featuring remastered sound and updated artwork. Also, this is the first time the EP is issued on vinyl, so fans of the indie rock / baroque pop (the string section makes all the difference in the world!) outfit should jump on this one quick. Highlights include "Can You Tell," "Ghost Under Rocks," "Each Year," and "Dying Is Fine."
