Stilove4music still bringing that edit heat! The Chicago-based label has been quiet for a minute, but is back with a massive edit of Shuggie Otis. Here they enlist Swiss DJ/producer Ripperton who treats Shuggie's classic summertime groover "Hat Uh Mi Hed" to an incredible re-work that changes up the arrangement and re-tweaks the mix for huge effect on the dancefloor. The track clocks in at over 11 minutes so our sound sample really doesn't do it justice, but best believe that when the full vocals finally drop and the groove is in full swing (about 5 minutes in) everyone will be grooving on the floor. Already getting major play from big dogs like Gilles Peterson, Danny Krivit, and Tim Sweeney. Flipside features the deep and spacious "We Are Music." Black label copies in plain paper sleeve.
