Another quality release from Speculator's WT imprint, this time from Shawn O' Sullivan. You might recognize Shawn's name from his work with NY new wave band's Led Er Est or Further Reductions, or maybe that industrialized L.I.E.S. white label that's been floating around, but here he goes for a sound that WT calls "Drop Bass Network meets Berghain dub techno meets the new sound of Amsterdam with a little bit of acid and industrial sprinkled in." Couldn't have said it better myself. This pure, free form techno music recorded on analog drum machines and synths and straight into a stereo track on one take so there will be some looseness and imperfections, but it only makes it fresher. Recommended.
