The Soul Surfers has been killing it for a minute now on Detroit's Funk Night Records (FNR) under various aliases (see The Gospel Surfers, The, Rhythm Cowboys, Snow Surfers, etc.) and now make the move to Ubiquity for another dose of raw funk. Check the heavy fuzz, tight drums, fat bass and nasty Hammond work on "Doin The Rasklad" while "Girl From Sao Paolo" puts a softer touch on things while keeping the funk tight.
