Chicago beatsmith Tewz returns with sample laden Hip Hop Breaks. Leaning towards the sounds of RJD2, early DJ Shadow, and fellow Chitown producers Meaty Ogre and Maker this is definitely for the heads. "1,000 Miles From Home" is a dusty drive on a sunny day with the mountains in front of you and the border behind you. The flip, "Last Chance", is a more cerebral effort giving some pastoral keys laced on top of some thick basslines and gorgeous drum breaks.
