Richard Araiza, Dakota Bottcher, Modeste Cobian, Lodon Guzman, and Sean Redman (ex Cherry Glazerr member) are The Buttertones, and "Madame Supreme" is a previously unreleased single from 2018's Midnight in a Moonless Dream, the LA rockers' latest studio full length. An energetic number in line with the group's garage & surf rock influences, Araiza's baritone vocals and the playful saxophone work stand out. On the flip is "Shut Out," a "dark but faithful" cover of a classic from The Walker Brothers.
