Lead singer and founding member William "Poogie" Hart handled much of the song writing and composition here, with the legendary production team of Stan & Bell (aka Thom Bell and Stan Watson) on arrangement and instrumentation. The result was one of the earliest and most influential harbingers of the Philly Soul Sound, and gave us not only the infectious title track (as sampled by Ghostface, Nicki Minaj and many others), but also chart toppers "I'm Sorry," "Break Your Promise," and many others. This 2018 Music On Vinyl pressing comes on audiophile 180 gram vinyl for the superior listening experience.
