  • Factory Records graduates get proper reissue! Leave it up to Captured Tracks for reissuing long forgotten dream pop works. The Wake were signed to Factory Records in 1982 and subsequently given a spot opening up for New Order on tour. While the comparisons are quite obvious and these eventually led to the band disenfranchised the material they did manage to release was pure class. Looking back at the catalog, Factory had a long run of bands taking from each other and obviously some did much better than others, there are these moments that makes us wonder why did these guys not get the proper attention? 'Here Comes Everybody' compiles the original album and singles onto 2 LPs worth of dreamy bliss pop that will surely give New Order fans a break from Power, Corruption, and Lies.
