Limited edition box set for Black Friday Record Store Day 2013 Exclusive! Soul Fire Records was started in 1999 by Phillip Lehman and released a bevy of funk 45s. Many of these 45s are hard to find and catch top dollar these days. The label was closed in 2003, and its studio was left to Jeff Silverman & Leon Michaels who went on to form Truth & Soul Records. This box set contains some of the rarest sides from the Soul Fire catalog, 8 7" records, liner notes from Phillip himself, and a Soul Fire sticker, all packaged in a woven silkscreened collectors box.
