It's a visceral and volatile mix of pop punk and stoner fuzz, punctuated by frontman Nathan Williams' penchant for the outsize choruses of snotty, mid-90s punk. But where the songs of that period reveled in their goofball antics, Wavves reaches further back to the nihilistic tendencies of the 1980s SoCal punk scene. Includes the songs: "Way Too Much," "Heavy Metal Detox," "Flamezesz," and "Cry Baby." Eleven tracks in all. Released by Ghost Ramp on indie exclusive purple vinyl with a download code.
