  • A.E. Paterra and Steve Moore's Zombi is back! It's been awhile since we last heard from the duo on 2011's Escape Velocity and we're more than a little chuffed to have Shape Shift in our mitts. It's a self produced effort that was recorded at Moore's Private Studio in Bath, NY and Machine Age Studios in Pittsburgh, PA. The sound is darker and heavier than what we've heard in the past, but it's just as progressive as anything the duo has released. Moore's live electric bass matches up perfectly with Paterra's inventive drumming. The duo moves through a myriad of time signatures, flexing their collective muscle all over the record. It's a serious prog workout like nothing else out there. Nine tracks in all. Released by Relapse Records on translucent red double vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a download code.
