No detail is left unexamined when considering the topics of violence in Kill Bill, whether the raptors are at fault in Jurassic Park, or that tragic biopic about Tejano singer Selena. There’s an NBA style draft of scenes from famous gangster films, and a chapter about which race was “White saviored” the best by Kevin Costner. The book is lovingly illustrated in a retro comic book style by Arturo Torres, but not at the expense of facts, trivia, and analysis. 255 color pages, includes an afterword by Don Cheadle.
