This kind of music was pretty rare for Belgium in the 70's, but small groups of gifted musicians and composers still managed to create their own unique takes of afro-funk, latin, and soul. In the time of hit parades and variety orchestras, these kinds of songs were few and far between, but thankfully the Sdban label has done all the hard digging for you and put Belgium's funkiest nuggets all in one place. Check the killer sound from Chakachas, Open Sky Unit, Plus, Chicken Curry & His Pop Percussion Orchestra, Placebo, Les Helions, and more.
