  • What's that? You only know "T.R.O.Y." on this album? C'mon! You're missing out man. This album is timeless. Dilla, Pharrell, 9th Wonder, they all cite this as a huge inspiration for why they got into producing. Not to mention how many doors this album opened for hip hop in general. When "T.R.O.Y." went mainstream it was a phenomenon. The good side was that you had a raw underground hip hop feel finding it's way on the radio and the top 20 charts. MTV was playing it frequently aside from it's huge coverage on Yo! MTV Raps. The bad side, it kind of shadowed the rest of the album. Here's your chance to revisit the gems and check Pete and CL at their prime. Just an observation: With the exception of DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, this is one of the few groups where the MC was humble enough to let the DJ's name go first in the artist name. Boy have times changed! Eighteen tracks in all. Released by Music On Vinyl on silver colored wax.

    • 180g silver colored double vinyl pressing
    • includes printed insert
    • individually stamped + numbered
    • limited edition of 1500
