Final studio album from Australia's Dead Can Dance. Spiritchaser was originally recorded in 1996 and was the band's last album before Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard went their separate ways. The duo employs the world music elements they'd become known for while working with collaborators that had appeared on previous albums. You can sense that they wanted to stretch out a bit more with this release, the duo's personal and creative tensions bubbling just beneath the surface. Eight tracks in all. Released by 4AD on double vinyl housed in a full color sleeve with printed inner sleeves.
