  • Majid Jordan consists of singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman. One of the first signees to Drake and Noah “40” Shebib’s OVO Sound, the duo is perhaps best known for the look on the 6-god panty dropper “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” But, like anything r&b/pbr&b-related coming out of OVO/Canada these days—DVSN, PartyNextDoor, Tory Lanez, The Weeknd, and Biebs even— the music is good and these guys can certainly stand on their own ground. The immediate standout is the Nineteen85-produced “King City,” and the “Hotline Bling” producer’s thick bass, half-timed percussion, and dreamy synth work leave the perfect amount of room for MJ’s vocals to cut through. “My Love” featuring Drizzy is also a no brainer, and also check out downtempo groovers “Love Is Always There” and “Warm.”
