Tips Before Proceeding

  • Locate the Audioquest Cable Box inside the shipment, you'll be using this cable to connect your turntable to the speaker (not the one that came with your turntable).
  • Is the audio quiet or distorted? Make sure that the button on the back of the turntable is pressed in (LINE OUT).

Congratulations on your new TTL Setup! Here are detailed instructions on how to completely set up your Pro-Ject: T2 Super Phono / KEF LSX II / Turntable Package.

1.0 SET UP YOUR KEF SPEAKERS

1.1

  • Place the unit marked on the back with 'PRIMARY' (it has more inputs on the back) on the RIGHT.
  • Plug in the power cables for both units.
  • Download the KEF app, create an account, and follow setup prompts.

2.0 SET UP YOUR T2 SUPER PHONO TURNTABLE

2.1

3.0 CONNECT YOUR TURNTABLE + PLAY A RECORD

3.1

  • Locate the Audioquest Box and use the enclosed cable to connect the turntable to the AUX input of the primary KEF speaker.
  • IMPORTANT: when you plug in your turntable, make sure that the button next to the turntable outputs is PRESSED IN. This activates the built-in preamp and allows you to plug into an AUX input.
  • If you are using an external preamp, deactivate the preamp (phono out) and use the clear cable that came with the turntable. Attach the U-shaped ground wire to the binding post.

3.2

  • Remove the STYLUS GUARD from the turntable cartridge / needle.
  • Using the power switch on the left side of the turntable, turn on the motor.
  • You can use the tonearm lift (the small level at the base of the tonearm) to gently lower the needle onto the record.

3.3

  • On the KEF app, select the remote button (on the bottom, to the right of the home button).
  • Select AUX.
  • You should now hear the turntable.
  • Control the volume using the app or remote control.
  • You can also select the AUX input / control volume on the remote control (cycle through inputs by pressing the < + > buttons)
  • Enjoy your TTL Setup!
