TTL Setup: Sony: PS-LX Turntable / Kanto ORA4 Speakers
Congratulations on your new TTL Setup! Here are instructions on how to set up your Sony turntable and Kanto speakers.
1.0 SET UP KANTO SPEAKERS

Unpack your Kanto speakers and locate the accessories and cables as shown. The thicker 4 PIN CABLE will be used to connect the 2 speakers.

Position your speakers. NOTE: Position the powered unit on the left.
Plug in your speaker. Use the 4 PIN CABLE to connect the (2) speakers together. Cable length is 6ft.

2.0 SET UP YOUR SONY TURNTABLE

Unpack your turntable and gather the platter, power cable, and dustcover hinges.

- Place the metal platter onto the spindle.
- Locate the red tape.
- Spin the platter until red tape is aligned with the bronze pulley.
- Pull the red tape so the rubber belt goes around the pulley.
- Once the belt is on, take off the red tape completely.

- Plug in the power cord.
- Insert the dustcover hinges and install the dustcover.
- Take off the plastic stylus cover from the cartridge.

3.0 CONNECT YOUR TURNTABLE TO THE SPEAKER
Now connect your turntable to the speaker using the RCA cable that comes with the turntable. Double check that the switch on the back of turntable is set to LINE.

3.1 POWER UP + PLAY
1) Turn on your speaker by pressing the control knob. A single press wakes the speaker, while holding the knob down for two seconds turns it off.
Press the same control knob until the GREEN LIGHT is activated.
- Green: RCA (analog)
- Yellow/White: USB-C
- Blue: Bluetooth
2) Put on a record.
3) Press the GREEN play button on turntable.
4) If you don't hear anything, make sure the SPEAKER is set to RCA / LINE, press the button on the speaker until the speaker indicator light turns green.

4.0 OPTIONAL: BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
Turntable Lab recommends using the wired connection (better sound, no latency), but if you choose to connect your turntable and speakers via Bluetooth follow these instructions:

Activate the speaker's Bluetooth mode by pressing the Speaker button until the BLUE LIGHT is activated.

Click the Bluetooth pairing button on the rear of the speaker.

Once the turnable is set up as above, push the Bluetooth button to the bottom left of the platter and hold for two seconds. The LED light will flash, indicating that the turntable is in pairing mode. Once the turntable has successfully paired with the speaker, that flashing light will change to a solid blue. (NOTE: the turntable and speaker should be within 3 feet of each other to pair).
