  • Prime astral travel material right here. I used to live with a serious record dealer who supplied recs to heavyweights like DJ Spinna and Large Pro. The apartment was obviously over run with records, but there was this small shelf above the turntables that held the prized pieces of the collection. This particular record was up there for a really long time. So long in fact, that one day I finally asked "what's up with that Agitation Free rec?" The resulting smoke-out/listening session was one for the books. The spaced out ambience and effects were the perfect opener, then the chilled out krautrock moments of "First Communication" set my mind a bliss. My memory of the rest was pretty hazy (obv), but by the time the record ended I was off on a cloud. I hunted for the record for years with no luck till this repress came through and upon revisiting, my initial hunches were correct. The perfect balance of experimental, chill, and rock-out grooves. Take the trip, you won't regret it.
