  • Fifth studio album from metal gods Black Sabbath. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath was originally recorded in 1973 at Morgan Studios in London. After their tour in support of 1972's Vol.4 the band tried to recreate the recording atmosphere of that album by returning to Los Angeles' Record Plant. Plagued by writers block due to their abundant substance abuse and fatigue from touring, the band was not able to complete any songs. After a unsuccessful month in Los Angeles the band decided to return to the UK and take some time off. The reunited at the Clearwell Castle in The Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England, where Led Zeppelin had previously wrote and recorded. The location seems to have lent an eerie air to the album. The result was one of the most well received albums in the band's catalog. An essential for any heavy metal fan. Eight tracks in all. Released by Warner Bros. on 180 gram colored vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve.

    • 180 colored vinyl pressing
    • gatefold sleeve
