Come To Daddy. Just in time for Halloween, Christopher Young's long out-of-print score to Clive Barker's original Hellraiser film gets a deluxe reissue! Originally released in 1987, Hellraiser would be Barker's directorial debut and introduced the world to the terrifying alternate dimension of Cenobites and the mysterious puzzle box. Christopher Young perfectly sets an eerie and ominous tone with the music, channeling works of experimental electronic group Coil (who Barker originally wanted to perform music for the film). This 30th anniversary pressing features fully remixed and remastered sound from the original 24 track, 2" analog masters and comes on beautiful "bloodshed" colored vinyl, complete with gatefold sleeve showcasing digitally restored artwork and photography. Recommended.
